Introduction

The Emrelia E3X is a touchscreen glass-cockpit EFIS for flight simulators — a faithful re-creation of the modern GA glass-cockpit experience for X-Plane 11/12, with experimental Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024 support.

The E3X runs as its own application beside your simulator and connects to it live. That means you can put it anywhere: a window next to the sim, a second monitor, a touchscreen in a home cockpit, or behind a RealSimGear bezel. On X-Plane 12.1+ it can also render directly inside the 3D cockpit (an optional install component).

  • A simulator: X-Plane 11 or 12 (MSFS 2020/2024 support is experimental)
  • An OS: Windows or Linux
  • Nothing else to install: the E3X bundles its own display runtime (a pinned Chromium) and opens as a dedicated app window; an installed Chrome or Edge works as a fallback
  • Disk: ~600 MB for the install plus a regional data pack (~3.5 GB for the US); terrain detail is cached on demand
