Panel Integration

The E3X is built to sit in a panel beside other avionics and behave the way the real unit does when coupled to them.

Couple the E3X to a GTN- or GNS-class navigator (RealityXP GTN, or X-Plane’s native FMS) and it mirrors the navigator’s complete flight plan — procedures, transitions, and the missed approach included. The pilot loads procedures on the navigator; the E3X displays and follows the route.

Six independent enables in Setup → Radios — COM 1/2, NAV 1/2, audio panel, transponder — control exactly which radios the E3X drives. Disabling a radio removes its CNS cell, menu tile, frequency-load targets, and CDI sources, matching the real unit’s configuration behavior.

See the AFCS guide for hybrid native-AP coupling.
